We are excited to announce the recent launch of the RPBA stud directory. This is a private RPBA members-only directory that helps to connect responsible breeders seeking and offering stud services across Australia.
To help ensure that all animals bred are happy and healthy, we require all members posting a listing to include a copy of their stud dog or cat’s DNA testing within the form. Stud owners must have proof readily available to show other breeders that their stud animal adheres to the following requirements:
- Active RPBA member number of the stud owner which can be checked on the Verify Breeder page
- DNA tested and cleared of genetic variants
- Up to date on all vaccinations and vet checks
- Any other breed-specific testing that has been undertaken
These requirements help to protect our members and ensure the well-being of RPBA animals being bred. All RPBA members must adhere to our code of ethics and their relevant state legislation.
